Arrest in shooting at California Little League game
Fri Apr 26, 2013
People in the founding fathers' time used commas like crazy, and it makes it a bit difficult today to compare clauses. Here is the complete text: A well regulated militia, being necessary to the security of a free state, the right of the people to keep and bear arms, shall not be infringed.
What happens when you wring out a washcloth in zero-G? Now we know
Thu Apr 18, 2013
Dick Clarke used a smaller microphone than that in 1965 on American Bandstand. Billions invested and this guy speaks into a microphone the size of a club. Sheesh. Not exactly space age microphone technology...I think I figured out a way to lighten the payload by a few pounds.
Saudi court orders man to be paralyzed as an Islamic punishment

"I cannot fathom where they would find a doctor willing to carry out such an act." Here's a hint: start the search in Saudi Arabia.
Cyprus lawmakers reject proposed bank tax
Tue Mar 19, 2013
Agree that fiscal responsibility is important, disagree this story is directly applicable to the U.S.
Youth baseball league raffles off AR-15 to raise money, gets 'tremendous' response
Thu Mar 14, 2013
My response from merely reading the headline: So? I'm a democrat. Also a hunter. AR-15's are not evil, but some people who use them are. String is not evil, but in the hands of the Boston Strangler it sure may seem so.
More than 2,800 dead pigs found in Chinese river
Mon Mar 11, 2013
You gotta love this comment from the story: “I’m sure other cities have the same problems, but the difference is the incidents have not been reported yet.” What? Lady...approximately 3,000 dead diseased pigs were dumped in your river.
Obama administration to express support for gay marriage before Supreme Court
Thu Feb 28, 2013
Why do we have to have uniformity among states on this issue? If the people of a state vote one way or the other, then that seems like the democratic solution.
Construction resumes on nation's largest home: Florida couple's 'Versailles'
Fri Feb 22, 2013
What absurd people. What squandering of wealth. Very strange. To all the starving children out there: that third pool was more important than your life. Sorry kiddos. If I had their wealth, I'd build a nice house (not Versailles), retire, and spend my retirement helping people.
As US fishing industry dwindles, diners may hardly notice
Tue Feb 19, 2013
Maybe this is totally naive and incorrect...I'll admit I know nothing of the fish industry. But our fish are a natural source of food, and therefore commerce--and fish is better for us than red meat.
Florida – the state to watch over the next four years
Tue Feb 12, 2013
4 years is plenty of time to research, develop, and implement voting machines that will accomodate the galactic stupidity present in a large number of Floridians. Fix your voting, jackweeds. If chads confuse you...just do us all a favor and stay home on voting day.
